Aspects to consider about "Woodburning" and my art work!
						There are knots in wood that cannot be helped.  However, they can sometimes be manipulated.  I try to use a piece of wood that is going to complement the picture I am woodburning. Normally, all of my pieces are stained with a "natural" wood finish.  Then they are coated with polyurethane, unless otherwise requested.  I do have a variety of other stains: Natural, Golden Oak, Honey Maple, Classic Oak Satin, Cherry, Antique Maple, and Early American.  Lighter stains work the best with woodburning because it brings out the beauty in the wood and art work. Every hanging piece I finish comes with a brass or steel hanging device on the back. You may notice that my website does not have a price list for custom orders.  Prices depend on the size of the wood used, projected detailing (time), and type of woodburning requested (ei: portraits, signs, nameplates).  There is tax (for Minnesota residents, plus shipping and handling charges.  I will not be able to give an estimate until I have spoken with you and viewed the pictures you wish to have woodburned.  If you have an idea for a woodburning but do not have pictures I can design something for you.
